March 15, 2007: The Mount Pleasant Pier

While unbuilding is almost complete on the Charleston side, building of the Mt. Pleasant Pier is almost complete on the Mt. Pleasant side. What synchronization. The worksite

The end of the pier - floor beams in place

and the "Pier maker" - that pours the concrete and smooths it.

Rebar in place for the next step of building the pier

A nice view of the pier and Ravenel tower
